I’m curious to grasp the basics of the economy of the country I’m living in, without getting lost in the complexity as I’m no economics whiz. Since Statistics Canada provides a lot of open data, I’ve just enjoyed exploring it and crafted a small Power BI Report. It covers the foundational elements of Canada’s economy such as GDP, Inflation Rate, Unemployment Rate, and so on.

The report will automatically update monthly when the new data is available, keeping track of the latest economy’s status without digging into a bunch of data. This report is just the first part, there will be two other parts that give some more details.
